Menandro

Menandro
The “Menander” house is a large domus of almost 1800 square meters. It takes this name from the painting found in it. The last owner was Quinto Poppeo, certainly wealthy. He used to organize Lucullan parties and meals in his villa. It is said that he would drop rose petals from above during his banquets. It is also said that Quinto Poppeo invited guests to try his precious ointments, namely rose extracts produced by ancient perfumers. We have dedicated this new essence to that place. With its many olfactory motifs such as orange, clove, ginger, saffron, cardamom, rose, geranium, ambergris, cedar wood, patchouli, sandalwood, animal notes and musk, it will be able to revive those moments of pomp, culture and lightheartedness...
